Audio Notebook Tutorial
Record, edit, and loop your practice sessions with professional warmth filters and waveform editing.
Step 1: Open Audio Notebook
Navigate to the Record tab in The Woodshed. You'll see:
- Live input level meter
- Waveform display
- Large red record button
- Count-in and timing controls below
Step 2: Check Your Levels
Before recording, play a few notes or sing. Watch the level meter:
- Green: Good levels
- Yellow: Getting loud
- Orange/Red: Too loud, back off a bit
Step 3: Hit Record
Tap the large red button and start playing. The waveform shows your input in real-time.
Step 4: Stop & Save
Tap the red button again (now a square) to stop. Your recording appears in the list below with an auto-generated title.
Step 5: Name Your Recording
Tap the recording card and choose "Rename" to give it a meaningful title.
